However, as students on the BA BAM come from a range of non-traditional backgrounds it is felt that the standard dissertation does not provide an entirely appropriate vehicle to meet the award's aims. Therefore, this module has been designed to meet the diverse needs of students in full-time, part-time and distance learning modes of study. The project will retain much of the theorectical nature of the traditional dissertation but considerable emphasis will be placed on the exploration of current issues in the context of particular organisations - especially for those students following the part-time and distance- learning modes. It should be noted that most of the full-time students will also be able to locate their work in their own work experiences.
